How the security deposit works: Deposit Amount: $500, separate from the reservation total displayed by Airbnb. When Collected: The deposit is automatically processed 2 days before check-in. How It's Held: The deposit is typically a temporary authorization hold on your credit or debit card, rather than an actual charge. When Released: Provided there is no damage or other applicable charges, the deposit is automatically released 2 days after check-out. Bank Processing Time: Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the funds to become available. The security deposit is simply a precautionary measure and is fully refundable when the property is left in accordance with our house rules. As with many urban locations, occasional traffic, neighborhood, or train noise may be heard. **Safety & Security:** Exterior security cameras are present at the front door for property security. Any cameras and their locations will be disclosed in the listing. No cameras are permitted inside the home. **Housekeeping:** The home is professionally cleaned and prepared before every arrival.
